Nihilistic can fix all of these issues however, Resistance Liberation is theirs also and they didn't do squat to fix the garbage multiplayer on that (the sound and game play was horrific). The trick is to only use them around corners where they are completely out of sight. The flash grenades suck, you will flash yourself 98 percent of the time. Controls are a little sensitive but can be adjusted in the options screen. I thought it was my internet connection at first but it happens to everyone on multiplayer.
However I've found that once I get into a game I can continue to play for a while before getting booted again. The booting me out to the main menu every time I start playing is an issue, especially when I want to get a game in in a hurry. Too many players per map perhaps or larger maps.
